Lúcuma is the name of a South American fruit. In Peru it's one of the most common flavours for ice cream. It tastes like sweet potato combined with maple syrup. In the UK you'll find it as a dried powder in health food stores usually grouped with other South American superfoods like Maca and Cacao. It's wonderful flavour means it's a popular ingredient with raw food chefs for making healthy desserts, chocolate bars and cakes.
